Hot Chicks with Big Brains is a feminist media company “for women who work”.
Our readers are 18-34 years old, either at university or in the workforce, and they’re grappling with glass ceilings, the wage gap, and a lack of representation generally.
We’ve published biannual print publications from 2016-2017, and have seen enough growth to move to a quarterly production schedule in 2018. Most magazines make women feel shit about themselves, but we do the opposite.
The publication is a premium product, retailing at $25 (and regularly selling out) and is a critical anchor for our brand and community. Looking to the future, our vision is for our freely-accessible website to grow into a hub and valuable resource where women who want to help each other achieve equality go to read and write about their lives. We’ve already worked with organisations like Girl Geek Academy and La Boite Theatre Company on promotional partnerships and advertorial strategy.
