WhippNews was born out of both a personal frustration and generational struggle to find and stay up to date with the important news and events. In studying communications it was abundantly clear that the current dominating media conglomerates are dying. Old structures of media are broken, and with the constant demand for news and the rise of click bait/fake news, new media needs to emerge. Coupled with the dysfunctions of current media Isabella found the issue of news relevance in her generation; news is not presented in an engaging and informative style for millennials.
It was for these issues that Isabella started WhippNews. Written by millennials for millennials, delivered to your inbox three mornings a week, WhippNews sums up the news in an entertaining and engaging format for millennials.
