Tim Kastelle

Tim Kastelle studies, teaches, consults and blogs about innovation for the UQ Business School. He is interested learning how to manage innovation to spur growth in everything from multinational firms to startups. He is passionate about helping to build thriving innovation ecosystems in the Southeast Queensland region and elsewhere.

Tim graduated from Princeton University with a degree in economics. He has worked in marketing and management posi­tions in a variety of industries including radio, office equipment, in­dustrial chemicals, higher education and a software startup. Tim builds on what he learned through these experiences in his academic work, which is focused on helping organisations of all sizes become more effective at innovating. Tim’s work has appeared in leading conferences and journals, such as the leading journal Research Policy. He is the Managing Editor of Innovation: Management, Policy & Practice.
