Annette Henry

Annette is a successful entrepreneur and experienced company director with nearly 20 years working in software solutions, business management and managing strategic vendor/partner relationships.   Annette possesses strong leadership and organizational skills combined with business acumen and common sense.

Annette’s career began in systems consulting and software development working for an IT consultancy.  She then joined mining and natural resources company, North Ltd acting as advisor to the company and its subsidiaries/joint ventures in fully utilizing and capitalizing on their software application investment.

In 1996, Annette cofounded IT consulting firm Eos Solutions.   Eos Solutions provided services and software to a range of high profile Enterprise, SME and Government clients.  As Managing Director, she was responsible for managing the overall operations of the company and was instrumental in shaping its future direction and business development strategy.  Coming from a background as an IT consultant, Annette blended technical knowledge with business acumen and genuine people skills to create a positive and customer focused working culture.

Under Annette’s leadership Eos grew from 2 to 40 staff, expanded across three states and acquired two start-up businesses.   She established an Advisory Board and secured both state and federal grants, growing her business to become one of the largest IBM Software Business Partners in Australia.  Following 13 years of profitable operation without the accumulation of debt, Annette successfully negotiated and completed the strategic sale of the business to a New Zealand company, Certus Solutions with 100% staff retention.

In 2009, Annette was appointed Managing Director to the Australian arm of Certus Solutions.  Working with a New Zealand Board she oversaw the Australian operations and helped Certus become the largest IBM Software Business Partner in ANZ.  She also successfully completed her full earn-out based on EBIT targets.

Annette has experience growing a company from start-up, shepherding it through mergers and acquisitions, grown shareholder value and demonstrated strong corporate economic growth through a strategic sale. Annette’s strong operational management and IT product and service development capability combined with her corporate governance experience provide assets that would benefit any Board.
