StartupSmart, the main media for startups in Australia just published a recent study by the venture capital firm, Artesian, In this study of the hottest startup accelerators and incubators over Australia, ilab UQ takes top spot!
We have added some updates to the figures. Since 2012, ilab UQ have run 10 Germinate programs. Accelerated 68 startups and incubated 64, backing around 240 founders overall.
Sportstech is huge. Advances in fan engagement technology, sports science, even eSports are all amazing. UQ is delighted to have been selected to bring the HYPE SPIN Lab global sportstech accelerator to Oz!

ilab UQ’s Germinate 11 – 30+ startups pre-selected for bootcamp
130+ registrations, 30+ teams pre-selected to attend a 3-days bootcamp, presenting both a learning opportunity and the chance to get into the final 10 teams invited to take part into the ilab UQ Germinate 11 startup accelerator program. This event is going to be huge! We are expecting nearly 90 founders, from extremely varied backgrounds, coming with projects covering the whole range of products, services, industries and, overall, out there to better the world and demonstrate the kind of cool technology our dreams are made of.
